THE STORY

THE WAYFOONG SYMBOL OF DECADENCE OF 1930’S, WHEN HONG KONG WAS A GROWING FROM A SMALL PORT TOWN BUSTLING WITH CROWDED HAWKER FILLED STREETS LINED WITH BEAUTIFUL ARCHED SHOPHOUSES, RICHSHAWS AND TRAMS. SHE WAS ALIVE WITH SOUL AND USED TO ENTERTAIN GUESTS AT LAVISH PARTIES TILL SUNRISE.

THE EXPERIENCE

GUESTS ARE GREETED BY A CREW OF THREE ENGLISH SPEAKING STAFF AT THE HOTEL PRIVATE PIER WITH A FRESHLY MADE WELCOME DRINK, AS A DAY OF ISLAND HOPPING IN SAI KUNG COMMENCES WITH A 1 HOUR RELAXING CRUISE TO THE SECLUDED BAY OF BLUFF ISLAND FOR A SWIM, FOLLOWED BY A LAZY LUNCH AT A SMALL PRISTINE HIDDEN BEACH AND FINALLY ONTO A SANDBANK FOR A SUNSET DRINK OR TEA, CRUISING SLOWLY BACK TO SHELTER COVE AT DUSK.

BUILT OF BURMESE TEAK, THE SEVENTY-FOOT LAUNCH WAS REMODELLED IN 2019. BOASTS A FULLY EQUIPPED KITCHEN, BATHROOM AND SHOWER, SIXTEEN PERSON FRONT-DECK DINING TABLE, AN ELEGANT LOWER-DECK SALOON FOR TEN AND AN AFT-DECK LOUNGE FOR SIXTEEN GUESTS.
